Please make your submission of a lost or found pet as brief as possible, yet informative enough to assist you in your request. If you will look at the Pet Locator Tips page, it should be of great assistance to you. E-mail your lost or found pet to: Lost and Found . Also, you can go to "Helping Hands for Our Animal Friends" in the "Photos" section and post your own photos of pets that have been lost or found, adoptable pets, your adorable or departed pets, etc. Directions to do this has been given in the HHFOAF's web site. You can get back to the home page of wvpetpages.com by going to the "Welcome" section, and clicking on its' hyperlink.
Please go back to the home page and submit your lost or found pet in the section titled "Lost Pets International."
If your pet is located, let us know by E-Mail.
Your pet cannot speak in his behalf, please have an identification name tag on him or her. Did you know that many Wal-Marts stores have a machine where you can get identifications tags made for your pet in just a few minute?
If your pet is missing, please be sure to search at nearby dwellings where an opening once existed where they could have entered, but inadvertently has been closed not aware that your pet is in there.
FOUND DOG: Found a female dog on New River Drive, Beckley on Saturday,
September 25, 2004. The dog is very friendly and loving. A medium sized dog
(weighs approximately 15-20 lbs.). Light brown/golden with black markings. The
dog appears to have been well cared for. If this is your dog or you would like

Found Dog: I live in Cross Lanes, WV and during the first week of August 2004, a male golden retriever was found wandering in our neighborhood. My neighbors took him in and bought him a dog house and are taking great care of him. By the looks of him, he has been well-taken care of and is someone's pet. We love having him in the neighborhood, but we would love to see him make his way back home where I'm sure he is longing to be.
He is light brown. He looks to weigh around 100 pounds and has a collar with no tag on it.
You can call me at 304/776-8502 and I'll give you some more information. (I want to make sure he goes back to his correct home so you'll need to tell me what color his collar is and give me some details).

Two Dogs Lost: I have two dogs that have been missing since Tuesday,
July 20, 2004. One is a female Boxer she is brindle in color and goes by the
name Josie. The other dog is a Pomeranian mix named Kenny, and he is very light
blonde/ white color. His fur is medium length and he is very chubby maybe a bit
overweight. We think someone either stole the dogs out of the yard or they ran
off.
I do not normally leave my dogs in the yard when I leave but I was only going be
gone for 15 minutes or less.
I would really love to find these dogs they mean a lot to me. I only have
pictures of my boxer.

Update: Sunday, August 8, 2004:
Hello, Just thought I'd let you know we have found Kenny the Pomeranian mix but
still haven't found our boxer.
Rabbit for Adoption: Stewart is a 4 month old rex rabbit. He is seeking a new home due to my development of allergies.
I am asking a $60.00 adoption fee. This fee includes his cage 23L x 23W, cage accessories, food (25lb bag), LARGE bag of pine shavings for his litterbox, and any treats and chews that are left when he leaves our care.
Stewart has been kept in an indoor cage and let out to exercise daily. He is used to being handled on a daily basis.
Stewart deserves a home that can give him the love he so deserves.

Dog Needs a Home: I am unable to care for my dog Judah any longer. I will be moving at some point to a facility where there are other disabled people. Judah is about six (6) and neutered. Judah is a big bog, hound, lab and shepherd, house trained, a very uncanny and unusual dog and is more of a one-person dog. Not for small kids (they bother him) and certainly not cats. He eats only two (2) cups of dog food and loves the outdoors and is an excellent travelers and loves to go. Physically and financially I cannot hold on to my home nor this wonderful dog. He takes very little care but I am disabled and it is progressing. For a while he lived with me in the radio station WWYO. Call Nigel Jennings at 294-6311 and give Judah a home.

Female Cat Needs Home I have a black and white female cat in
need of a home. She is very friendly and loveable! She had kittens 8 weeks ago.
She has been tested for FLV/FIV and is negative. If someone will take her I'll
pay half to have her spayed and her shots given to her. I can't keep her because
of my other cat which has to be in a one cat only home. I contacted Iona from
RCAR and she took one of her kittens but won't take the momma cat. I will keep
her for about 1or 2 more weeks and if I'm unable to place her in a home I'll

Can You Help?
This is Leah Spears from Oceana, WV in Wyoming County and I have a real
problem that I hope you may be able to help me with. Since I have started
fostering pets for the humane society, I have acquired a few more dogs than I
should have. A citizen has already complained about them to the town
several times. I need to try to find some of them homes ASAP. It is
imperative that I try to find homes for some of my babies ASAP."

Lost Pet-Jesse- 2-15-2004
Jesse is missing! He took off
with a group of strays on February 15, 2004, from the Capels area of McDowell
County. He is a 2 and a half year old Black Lab/Chow Mix. Jesse is neutered,
weighs about 60lbs., wearing a blue collar. There is a $200 REWARD for his
return. He is a very smart and gentle dog and is missed very much. Please call

Adoptable Pet-3-15-2004
I found this puppy in Beckley and was unable to find its owner. The puppy was
malnourished so I took him in, but due to my living situation, I am unable to
keep the puppy. I talked to Iona from the Raleigh County Animal Rescue on Friday
about needing some help in finding a good home for him. He looks as though
he may be part pit bull or boxer and is about four months old. He has a good temperament
and is very loving and playful with children. He has already had his first set
of vaccinations and will have his second in another week.

Lost Pet-Tad-12-01-03
HELP!!! Tad is missing! Tad is a nine year old115 pound golden retriever he is
reddish in color he has silver/grey in his face. He wondered away from his
residence in Kanawha City near SVI Laboratories.He is missing from Charleston
area, but he has been spotted in the Logan area!! There is a $2,500 reward for
his SAFE return. Tad has a six year old boy at home who misses him dearly and
does not understand where Tad is. Tad was due for heartworm prevention on
December 1 . Tad does eat a special food that helps with his arthritis. If you

Found- Lost Dog-10-18-03
I found a dog coming down Sandstone Mountain right outside of Summers County.
He is a Boxer/hound/birddog/possible Pit Bull mix. I am not sure of all
the dogs. He is neutered and very VERY well behaved. He looks more
like a hound in the body and weighs about 45 - 50 pounds. I found him
October 18, 2003 and have been looking for his owner and/or a home for him
since then. If someone knows his owner, please notify
them so they can get their pet or let me know who it is so I can return their
pet to them. If not that, I would appreciate if someone would adopt this
loveable pet. We are not able to keep him. I appreciate any help given.

Lost Pet-Bruno-12-04-03
Last seen Thursday, December 4, 2003 in the Pea Ridge Road/Sanger/Hilltop area.
One-year-old Boxer/Chow mix, male, 65-70 lbs. Reddish brown short fur, with a
tendency to wave along his back when damp. Black muzzle, and tip of tail. Eyes
are same color as fur. Spotted purple tongue. Was not wearing a collar at time.
Answers to the name of Bruno, and is quite shy in nature. Likes to roam wooded
areas, and was last seen around 5:00 p.m. in the Sanger area of Oak Hill, in
Fayette County. Sadly missed by dog's owner, 12 year old girl. If you have found

Lost Pet-Tiger-10-20-03
Lost or stolen, a male cat. Tiger striped in gray and black beautiful
markings. Answers to the name "TIGER." Missing since October 20 and
was not wearing a collar at the time. A very healthy muscular cat. Tiger had an
injury in his back hip when he was young and has trouble running and jumping.
Very sadly missed by his sister, Kitty, and two small children. Lost in the

Lost in the Sandstone area is a Brindle Boxer male weighing about
forty pounds, six months old, and answers to the name Rufus. Rufus was traveling
with other dogs which came back but he did not. Rufus was last seen on Swell

Joe D / Lost Epileptic Dog
Joe was let out of our hotel room in Orlando at US Hwy. 192 at mile marker 5 outside of Disney’s maingate. Joe is 100 pounds, epileptic and has his 2 back declaws. Joe has black and gold medium length medium fur. He was wearing a black nylon collar with Boca Raton/West Palm Beach vaccination tags. Joe is friendly but timid. Joe is neutered. Bird is grey with red tail and has white around his eyes. Lost on March 8, 2002 around 6:30 p.m.
